Located at 29km northeast of Elkford, BC, Canada, Fording River began production in 1971 making it its first shipment of metallurgical coal in April 1972.
Designed like a 3Mt/y operation, the Fording River contains the mineral kind of low- to high-volatile bituminous a coals. The mine also produces and sells thermal coal for use by power utilities and associated industries. The unbooked time agreement for the 2 electricity generators is projected to get the most important surface mine while in the eastern US.

About Coal Beneficiation : Three forms of processes may be performed at the plants: concrete recycling equipment
